  • Many outpatient rehab centers offer a 3 month program for $5,000 total.
  • Intensive outpatient care for alcohol addiction can cost between $500 to $650 a day in a private care facility.
  • On average this would be $575 a day.
  • Over a 30 day period, this ranges between $15,000 to $19,500.
  • Over a 30 day period this would average $17,250.
  • In a 12 week period, this amounts to $42,000 to $54,600.

Residential treatment plans exist outside the hospital system. They are designed to be live-in centers compared to inpatient treatment services. Short term treatment centers tend to last 3 to 6 weeks. Long term care is from 6 to 12 months.

The average cost for residential addiction treatment comes out to $42,500.
Publicly funded centers long term treatment centers reach $8,000 or higher for specialized programs.
As an example, sober living usually costs $1,500 to $2,000 a month.

Private facilities that host long term treatment plans tend to have a minimum starting price of $20,000.
